About Us

REBECCA Redman

Rebecca started her career as a professional performer, working on a variety of contracts from Nickelodeon TV to Polydor music videos, including Sophie Ellis Bextor’s ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ hit.

She has danced for numerous production companies across the U.K including Qdos, Moscow State Circus, Chaplin’s & Hammond and was the original ‘Candi’ in Butlins Skyline Gang.

Rebecca is also the voice of Little Miss Sunshine for the Mr. Men tour and has spent many seasons singing with Blues Brothers Inc at Bourne, Haven, Warner and Park Holiday resorts.

Her love for dance inspired her to train to Associate level with the I.D.T.A, complete her fitness qualifications and go on to launch her local business, Funk Fusion Fitness and more recently The Abbey Dance Academy.

SAMMI ORR

Sammi  is trained in all styles of dance from tap to jazz, modern to street and has also performed in many showcases across the south, most recently with the ‘Xfactor’ star Stacy Solomon.

She is an Associate level I.S.T.D teacher and fully qualified in ETM (exercise to music), Supple Strength, Choreography & Conditioning and Bokwa.

Her commitment to helping the younger generation keep fit has linked her closely with councils in the area promoting well being programmes across the South East. She excels with our younger participants and has vast experience working in the school sector.

Sammi qualified in Zumba in 2011 and is thrilled to be working with Funk Fusion Fitness as they bring the party to the South East!

SARAH RUUSUVUORI

Sarah trained at ‘The Centre’ Performing Arts College in London where she gained her Associate dance teacher’s qualifications with the I.S.T.D.

Since graduating, she has danced professionally on various touring shows for Qudos, Hammond Productions, Warner Holidays and Chessington World of Adventures.

She has also appeared as the ‘high kicking cowgirl’ for The London Broncos official cheerleading squad!

Sarah is a fully qualified level 3 Pilates and ETM (Exercise To Music) instructor, specialising in pre and post natal. She teaches a wide variety of classes for young children right the way through to the older adult but particularly enjoys Zumba as ‘its a fun way to get fit and has great rhythms!’

CHARLOTTE HOY

Charlotte graduated from the Kent Stage Academy for the Performing Arts in 2013 where she was awarded the ATCL diploma in Musical Theatre-distinction.

She has danced professionally for show teams in Cyprus, Warner leisure holidays and various pantomimes as well as acting for theatre, adverts and short films.

Choreography and teaching are a passion of Charlotte’s and she enjoys a variety of styles of dance from ballet, jazz, street, tap and now Zumba! She thanks the team at Funk Fusion Fitness for their support as she continues to take steps into the fitness industry.

MOLLY MOYSE

Molly has danced from the age of 2, training at The Janice Blake School of Dancing and Amanda Lacey Theatre Arts. She is trained in many different disciplines of dance including ballet, tap, modern and lyrical.

Throughout Molly’s dancing career she has competed at a high standard around the UK representing the South Of England on numerous occasions and competing in the Miss Dance of Great Britain held at the Blackpool Winter Gardens.

Molly studied at Bexhill College from 2011-2013 where she was awarded a Level 2 National Diploma in Performing Arts.

Molly completed and qualified as an IDTA Associate ballet teacher in May 2018. She is also a level 2 qualified ETM, Fitness Pilates, Balletfit and Zumba instructor. She loves teaching classes to both adults and children and is grateful to Funk Fusion Fitness for all the fun experiences.

MILLIE JOLLEY

Millie is a first class Performing Arts and Dance BA (Hons) graduate from the University of Chichester.

She has a breadth of experience and has been involved in various showcases and professional touring productions such as Swan Lake and La Traviata. Notably she worked professionally with BBC star Gareth Malone in the premier stage production of ‘Knight Crew’ opera performed at Glyndebourne.

Millie has also featured in the television series ‘Gareth goes to Glyndebourne’ broadcast on BBC 2.

At University Millie was a member the Chichester Cheetahs Cheerleading team which represented the University at competitions in the U.K and abroad.

Over the last year Millie has worked closely with a disabled school in Brighton which has helped her understanding of what can be achieve through dance. Her interests in helping the younger generation extends beyond the dance studio and in 2014 she helped raise over £1000 for ‘Charity for Kids’ based in the South East!

BETH TUFF

Beth had danced since the age of 3, training in various styles including modern, tap and jazz. She’s worked her way through the grades whilst also participating in many stage productions.

Since 2019 Beth has attended East Sussex college where she has gained her level 2 Gym Instructing qualification and both her level 3 BTEC National (Foundation and Extended) Diploma in sport where she achieved triple distinction. Currently she is working towards her level 3 Personal Training. In October 2021 Beth qualified in Zumba Instructing. 

From an early age Beth was introduced to Funk Fusion Fitness where she participated in children’s Zumba, she is now so excited to
have the opportunity to introduce dance and fitness to young children.

Laura Oak-McIntyre

Laura has had a passion for dance since the tender age of 3 and has worked her way through her I.S.T.D Grades in Modern and Tap.
She has performed in many local productions over the past 35 years, at The White Rock Theatre and De La War Pavilion.
Laura has always participated in group exercise classes for her own enjoyment and through regular attendance of our Funk Fusion Fitness sessions, it was apparent that she had the skills to be an instructor! Laura decided to train and qualify to teach with us and is now sharing her love for Zumba with children and adults of all ages.
Laura has worked for the NHS mental health department for over 25 years and is delighted to bring her specialist knowledge to our clients. She is a firm believer in linking physical and mental health to fun fitness activities and this is reflected in our Funk Fusion family where Laura always brings the fun and laughter to the team!

Lyndsey Gregory

Lyndsey is a Teesside University Graduate who gained a BA(hons) in Performance & Events Production, where she studied dance as her major.

Being a huge Musical Theatre fan, the highlight of her studies was starring in the Final Degree Show, playing the principal role of Miranda in Return to the Forbidden Planet, which she also helped choreograph.
She took up the violin at age 7 achieving her grade 6, and got her Musical Theatre singing grade 7.
After graduating, Lyndsey went abroad with TUI as an Entertainer for many years, enjoying singing & dancing in various destinations such as Majorca, Egypt, Zante & Lapland.

After a contract onboard Royal Caribbean Cruises, touring around America & The Caribbean and performing and hosting shows each evening, Lyndsey decided to come back to the UK and took on the Role of Events Coordinator at Combe Haven Holiday Park, where here, she introduced her own dance school – Glee Club, for children age 5-17, and choreographed and produced 3 shows a year.

She has since started up her own Business – Bee’z Balloons, and absolutely loves helping plan special events, from large scale weddings, to Peppa Pig birthday balloons!

Lyndsey is delighted to be joining the team at Funk Fusion Fitness, bringing her love for dance and fun to all the local children.

Holly Gooch

Holly has danced for as long as she can remember, competing successfully in a wide range of competitions winning medals and trophies across the country and appearing in local pantomimes including Qdos and Hammond Productions.

At a young age Holly appeared in Coppelia for The English Youth Ballet and realised her passion for dancing. She attended Bexhill College where she was awarded a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Musical Theatre. Whilst at college Holly was selected to be an assistant choreographer for BBC Blast, which instilled her love for teaching. Holly’s love for performing has seen her work in hotels abroad and also appear on our screens. Her TV & film credits include BBC, ITV and Netflix. She can be seen in Keith Lemons ITV Sketch Show, working alongside Keith Lemon, Paddy McGuinness, Fearne Cotton and Emily Atack, Disney’s Christopher Robin working alongside Ewan McGregor and in Guinder Chadha’s film Blinded By The Light, joining forces with Rob Brydon and Sally Phillips. Holly continues to work in this field to this day. 

Holly trained at Chichester College gaining ISTD & DDI teaching qualifications in both Tap and Modern Theatre. She is so excited to bring her enthusiasm for dance and teaching children to Funk Fusion Fitness!

Naomi Wareham

Naomi started her dance training at the age of 5 and studied I.S.T.D Ballet, Modern & Tap and R.A.D Ballet. She has danced in numerous festivals, productions and Pantomimes both locally and across the country.
Professionally, Naomi was a Principal dancer for Dreamworks Animation and toured as a skin character in ‘Madagscar live!’. She has appeared as a first team Cheerleader and squad dancer for Crystal Palace football club, performing at a variety of venues, including Wembley stadium to crowds of 80,000! She has also featured on popular T.V shows such as Soccer A.M and Match of the Day and has worked extensively with BT sports.
 
Naomi has a passion for choreography and has recently worked with BLODS as their choreographer for ‘School of Rock’ and The Hastleons for ‘Legally Blonde’. She has also choreographed for amateur productions of ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘The Sound of Music’ and ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and is currently putting the BatTS cast of ‘Spamalot’ through their paces!

Naomi is a skilled dance teacher with a wealth of experience in delivering classes to children. She is looking forward to joining the Funk Fusion Fitness team and working with her groups towards the Time to Dance festival at The White Rock Theatre.

Lucy Miller

After completing her professional training in London and graduating in 2008 with a BA Honours degree in Theatre Dance from the prestigious London Studio Centre, Lucy has enjoyed a hugely successful career in Musical Theatre.

She has performed in London’s West End in shows such as CHICAGO (Ensemble/Cover Velma Kelly) and GUYS & DOLLS (Swing/Cover Sarah Brown/Assistant Dance Captain) as well as in numerous UK and International touring productions such as TOP HAT (Ensemble/Cover Dale Tremont), 42nd STREET (Ensemble/Cover Dorothy Brock), HAIRSPRAY (Ensemble/Cover Penny), WHITE CHRISTMAS (Ensemble/Cover Judy), JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT (Ensemble) and SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN (Ensemble/Cover Kathy Selden).
Lucy was also an Assistant Choreographer for the 42nd STREET Charity Concert at the London Palladium.

After nearly a decade of performing herself, Lucy
moved into helping other young, aspiring performers achieve their dreams by becoming a Dance and Musical Theatre Tutor. She has been a guest adjudicator at competitions and taught at numerous schools and programmes in both the UK and USA, bringing her knowledge and expertise to the next generation of performers.

Izzy Catterall

Izzy Catterall is a freelance dancer that graduated from Trinity Laban with a BA Hons in Contemporary Dance. As well as her degree, Izzy also trained in ISTD tap, modern, ballet, jazz and folk dance, gymnastics, and she also trained in contemporary dance on the CAT Scheme at The Place. 
 
Whilst in full-time training, she worked with many different artists, choreographers and dance companies including Lea Anderson and members of Hofesh Shechter Company. She also performed in numerous music videos including artists such as Ashnikko, and was selected for the second round of BBC Young Dancer 2019 where she choreographed her own two solo dances and performed them in front of a panel of judges and an audience at the Lilian Baylis Studio in Sadler’s Wells Theatre. 
 
Since graduating, Izzy has been involved in various different projects and worked with different artists. This includes dance modelling for photography and film, and also being a resident performer at a cabaret club. More recently, Izzy has been very invested in dance teaching.
Jasmin

Jasmin Pickett

Jasmin has been dancing for over 20 years, with training in Street Dance, Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, and Lyrical styles. 
 
As well as competing at national dance level championships, Jasmin is a qualified teacher and delivers inclusive Contemporary dance and Street. She has a Level 2 Dance Leader award and Level 2 Gym instructing certificate and is also a versatile choreographer for competitions, such as Dance Live.
 
Jasmin is passionate about sharing her love for dance with the FFF children and brings energy, creativity, and experience to every class!
Bethany

Bethany Hill

Bethany has been dancing since the age of 2 and is trained in ISTD Ballet, Modern and Tap. She is currently working towards her Intermediate Modern and Advanced 1 Tap.
 
Bethany is a proud member of the local amateur dramatics community and has danced in many productions across Battle, Hastings and Bexhill. Most recently, as Dance Captain and Assistant Choreographer for BAtTS My Fair Lady.
 
As a child, Bethany took part in regular Zumba classes and loved them! She is keen to share her enthusiasm for this dance style with our Funk Fusion Fitness schools! 
Maddie

Maddie Ward

Maddie has been dancing since the age of 3 and trained in all genres, including; Jazz, Modern, Tap, Musical Theatre and Contemporary. 
 
 
As a child and young adult, she competed in dance competitions and festivals across the UK and during this time, furthered her training to specialise in Musical Theatre Jazz and Contemporary. Maddie also assists local choreographers at prestigious dance events, such as ‘Move It’. Her true passion is choreography and teaching and she enjoys working on solo’s, duets, trios and group dances for local competitions.
 
 
Maddie cannot wait to teach in our schools and is excited for her new journey with Funk Fusion Fitness!
