About Us


Rebecca started her career as a professional performer working on a variety of contracts from Nickelodeon TV to Polydor music videos, Jim Davidson presents, Hammond production pantomimes, Butlin’s Skyline cast, Jordan Formula One racing and most recently a national tour of Blues Brother’s Incorporated.

Her love for dance inspired her to train to Associate level with the I.D.T.A and go onto to complete her fitness qualifications in ETM (exercise to music), Level 3 Pilates & Yoga, Choreography & Conditioning, Aqua, Bokwa and Spinning. She has been a studio instructor/dance teacher since 2004 and is currently teaching for many of the large gym chains in the south, various schools and colleges and a performing arts studio in her home town. She is also an accredited assessor for the fitness industry mentoring new professionals in their chosen field and guiding them through their examinations.

Rebecca qualified in Zumba in 2010 and her classes were an instant success! The infectious music combined with the ‘exercise in disguise’ concept of Zumba has made her very passionate about teaching this new phenomenon which is sweeping the nation!



Sammi  is trained in all styles of dance from tap to jazz, modern to street and has also performed in many showcases across the south, most recently with the ‘Xfactor’ star Stacy Solomon.

She is an Associate level I.S.T.D teacher and fully qualified in ETM (exercise to music), Supple Strength, Choreography & Conditioning and Bokwa.

Her commitment to helping the younger generation keep fit has linked her closely with councils in the area promoting well being programmes across the South East. She excels with our younger participants and has vast experience working in the school sector.

Sammi qualified in Zumba in 2011 and is thrilled to be working with Funk Fusion Fitness as they bring the party to the South East!



Sarah trained at ‘The Centre’ Performing Arts College in London where she gained her Associate dance teacher’s qualifications with the I.S.T.D.

Since graduating, she has danced professionally on various touring shows for Qudos, Hammond Productions, Warner Holidays and Chessington World of Adventures.

She has also appeared as the ‘high kicking cowgirl’ for The London Broncos official cheerleading squad!

Sarah is a fully qualified level 3 Pilates and ETM (Exercise To Music) instructor, specialising in pre and post natal. She teaches a wide variety of classes for young children right the way through to the older adult but particularly enjoys Zumba as ‘its a fun way to get fit and has great rhythms!’



Charlotte graduated from the Kent Stage Academy for the Performing Arts in 2013 where she was awarded the ATCL diploma in Musical Theatre-distinction.

She has danced professionally for show teams in Cyprus, Warner leisure holidays and various pantomimes as well as acting for theatre, adverts and short films.

Choreography and teaching are a passion of Charlotte’s and she enjoys a variety of styles of dance from ballet, jazz, street, tap and now Zumba! She thanks the team at Funk Fusion Fitness for their support as she continues to take steps into the fitness industry.



Molly has danced from the age of 2, training at The Janice Blake School of Dancing and Amanda Lacey Theatre Arts. She is trained in many different disciplines of dance including ballet, tap, modern and lyrical.

Throughout Molly’s dancing career she has competed at a high standard around the UK representing the South Of England on numerous occasions and competing in the Miss Dance of Great Britain held at the Blackpool Winter Gardens.

Molly studied at Bexhill College from 2011-2013 where she was awarded a Level 2 National Diploma in Performing Arts.

Molly completed and qualified as an IDTA Associate ballet teacher in May 2018. She is also a level 2 qualified ETM, Fitness Pilates, Balletfit and Zumba instructor. She loves teaching classes to both adults and children and is grateful to Funk Fusion Fitness for all the fun experiences.



Millie is a first class Performing Arts and Dance BA (Hons) graduate from the University of Chichester.

She has a breadth of experience and has been involved in various showcases and professional touring productions such as Swan Lake and La Traviata. Notably she worked professionally with BBC star Gareth Malone in the premier stage production of ‘Knight Crew’ opera performed at Glyndebourne.

Millie has also featured in the television series ‘Gareth goes to Glyndebourne’ broadcast on BBC 2.

At University Millie was a member the Chichester Cheetahs Cheerleading team which represented the University at competitions in the U.K and abroad.

Over the last year Millie has worked closely with a disabled school in Brighton which has helped her understanding of what can be achieve through dance. Her interests in helping the younger generation extends beyond the dance studio and in 2014 she helped raise over £1000 for ‘Charity for Kids’ based in the South East!

Millie is delighted to be joining the Funk Fusion Fitness team



Maryann has been in the fitness industry for 6 years. She danced from the age of 7 performing in many dance shows and pantomimes, to then go to Performers dance college, studying professionally in jazz, tap, musical theatre and ballet.

Maryann is a 500hr Yoga instructor and also, holds qualifications in Fitness Pilates, Exercise to Music and Personal Training. She taught abroad for Neilson active holidays for 5 years, teaching a wide variety of classes to adults and children.

Maryann loves teaching and sharing her knowledge. She is excited to join the Funk Fusion Fitness team!



Gemma has danced from the age of 3, training at The Ambury School of Dance & Drama & The Oakhurst School of Dance. She is trained in many disciplines including Ballet, tap, Modern & Jazz & she is Zumba qualified.

Gemma has enjoyed many years of competing & performing across the country, highlights being ‘Sunday night at the London Palladium’ & with cabaret troop ‘Hot Stuff’.

Gemma also has a wealth of experience in musical theatre having performed in many productions with South East Theatre Society, BLODS & the Hastleons with principal roles in Bugsy Malone, Fidler on the roof & Seven Brides for Seven Brother’s.

She is thrilled to be returning to dance, her passion for fitness & well being extends into all facets of her life & she is extremely excited to share her love of dance with children & adults alike.
